Appleton Awareness Giving Circle™ Gallery opens new art exhibit for pancreatic cancer awareness.
Orlando, Fla. –Appleton Creative proudly presents PurpleLight, the pancreatic cancer awareness art exhibit now officially on display. Appleton Creative, a full service, award-winning advertising agency, and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network have partnered to showcase artwork created for and by individuals whose lives are affected by pancreatic cancer. The PurpleLight exhibit, now open to the public during business hours, highlights pieces created by artists Christina Bolling, and Joseph St. Jean.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Having the lowest five-year relative survival rate of all major cancers, there’s a dire need for advancements in treatment. Featured artist Christina Bolling served as an affiliate coordinator for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network after losing her grandfather to the disease. “I know that what I’m doing right now is helping hundreds of others who are going through the same battle my family went through,” says Bolling of her role within the organization.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network continues to raise private funds for research through awareness events and provide free resources and support to those affected by the disease. Past Appleton Awareness Giving Circle™ Gallery shows highlighted causes inspired by Beacon College, Pasadena Villa, the Foundation for Foster Children, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Proceeds from PurpleLight will go directly to the organization.
